Doha airport is flashy, cozy but dull. It is hard to understand how they beat Changi to be the best airport in the world.
I watched the Hamad International Airport video and also wondered how come they beat Changi for the top spot. In their video, they sneaked in a Jewel Changi Airport scene.

I like the many spaces for people to lie down and nap while transiting for their next flight. There are many such spots in T3. The Koi Pond, Butterfly Garden, Movie Theatre, Pay-Per-Use lounges etc are nice touches. Food is plentiful and at reasonable prices. The automated Immigration counters for all travellers says it all. Changi Airport deserves to regain the top spot next year.

Changi Airport is my favourite too. I like many of the facilities - shopping, food, rest areas, automated immigration gates, butterfly garden, movie theatre etc. I forgot to bring my USB 3 to type C cable and managed to buy one inside the transit area.
Complete package to make a traveller happy. I also bought magazines there last February awesome 👍

hi, i heard that there will be meet and greet at zone 1, but its only for friday and saturday, is it true? cus im still considering which ticket i should buy, should i buy walkabout, or a grand stand ticket?
I'm not sure. I think the meet and greet at zone 1 is only for fans who purchase Paddock Club or Champions Club packages at extremely high prices. You need to check this out. Last year, fans could meet their favourite drivers at various malls in the city on Wednesday and Thursday before the races days. With grandstand ticket, you will be rooted to one spot. There are large LED screens facing the grand stands, so you will know what is happening and can follow the races. Walkabout tickets are for people who like to watch the races from different vantage points. However, you will not know what is happening, why races are stopped, who is leading etc.

The bands are performing at the Padang area in the evening. It's standing room only. With Premier walkabout tickets, you can go there anytime.
Premier walkabout tickets are sold out at the main Singapore GP website. You might be able to buy them at 3rd party websites.

Yes, I agree that it would be great to see replicas of his paintings instead of just watching this multimedia experience. To me, this experience gives me a good introduction to many of his paintings that I am not aware of. Looks like they modernize a lot of stuff there.....In the 2010's it was THE place to stop for few days in BKK....after COVID, like everywhere it might had changed for the worst.....

As you said, this seems a much more authentic market than Patpong, which seems mostly aimed at tourists, and I found it a lot more interesting. I hope your holiday is going well.
I love to visit places that locals go to. I hope to experience a little bit of their way of life. Lalai Sap is one such place. I'm 1 week in Sichuan. I have filmed some interesting stuff that I will edit when I have the time. Things are going well and I am enjoying my time here. Rode a horse for 4 hrs up and down the Siguniang mountain till my butt hurts. I can access UA-cam, Gmail, Whatsapp etc only thru my 10 GB data eSIM. I therfore don't have the capacity to watch UA-cam videos.
